  How do I be the best at being a sound designer?

In the group I am in, my role is being a sound designer for the project. I only know the basics of of being a sound director in a film like the use and effect of non-diegetic and diegetic sound in a film. Besides editing a film sound is what puts a film altogether and without a sound designer their wouldn't be dialogue and audio effects to better the audiences intake of the film.

 3 Sound Design Secrets That Feel Like Cheating 

Here are some tips I will be using from the video above:

1. The powerful sound in a film is what keeps the audience hooked to the pretty visuals.
2. Although some sounds may sound boring, it's all in how they are used. For example, a high whoosh is usually used for a small movement; for a dramatic movement, you would use a deep whoosh. Also, you could achieve a fuller sound by adding all 3 different types of whooshes (High, Mid, and Deep whoosh)
3. Using sounds that don't match the visuals,23 and in the process of doing this, I could create a deeper experience for my audience.
