How to create overlapping music clearly (Planning)

 What even is it?

When you overlap music and you combine 2 sound excerpts while editing, when one piece of music fades into the next to create a smooth transition. This helps the emotional affect on the audience and it gives the film being created a more balanced and clear scenes.

This will be my first time using DaVinci, as I heard of it as one of the best apps to edit on.
