Is it okay to combine 2 different sounds! (Research)

 It's importance

When you combine 2 totally different sounds together in cinematography it usually creates a deeper understanding of the scene. It also helps builds the audiences feelings and interpretation of the film. The scenes could sometimes feels unreal and dramatic or even keep the audience alive.

Saving Private Ryan

Pros (combining 2 different sounds):

- Different sounds could make the scene more intense then usual

-The audience will remember

-More enjoyable to watch

Cons(combining 2 different sounds): 

-Could make the scene feel all over the place

- Distracting and confused for the audience

-May be hard to combine them

Summary!

In my personal opinion, the combination of 2 different sounds makes a great outcome. It is not to hard to do and I will be creating the sounds as you know since I am the sound designer and editing what I created myself. Their are a good amount of contrasting sounds in the film my group chose to recreate.
