Background
As you guys should know I am the sound designer of my group. As a result this means it is my responsibility to make sure every type of sound that is being heard by readers regardless if it is non-diegetic and diegetic sound that it is being created the right way and it is as similar to the clip were sweding, as shown down below.
This is Sparta! Scene
My goal is to recreate the sword clang sound from the clip above as much as I can. First
I used 2 different types of big knives shown down below and used my voice memos app to record different sounds I was making multiple times to then later combine them together to make a new sound

Above is the 4 recordings I used to make the sound although it did take me about 14 times to find the right sword clanging sound. While I was editing them together I did have to shorten some sections and stretch others out to replicate that sound in the clip. Also, I made some parts have a stronger affect then others.
