From his video I learned that you have to understand sound design in a technical and creative way. In a technical I need to make sure each sound that I combine is taking up the entire spectrum from low, mid, and high. This could be achieved by combing sounds from different ends of the spectrum or force them to be that way with an equalizer. On the creative side of sound designing it's all about finding way to make great sounds even if their not actually from the actual source or not. The sounds in different ranges can use an equalizer which will help create that sound.
