Making Sacrifices

We’ve been trying to find a time to reshoot parts of our film, but coordinating everyone’s schedules has been tricky. Especially, our actress for Micheal was always busy and was barely free so we then as a group decided to just have a girl play the boy and then 2 days before filming we found a guy to be our actor.

Another issue which was also the biggest was the two characters Lena and Claire. We had actors that confirmed to doing it then one left the group chat and the other one never responded back to us int he group chat and would go through other people to tell us when she should was available. Resulting in me the sound designer and Fabiana the Director/Editor of our group to be the two actors in the film.

Even though we faced a lot of challenges with some actors not being available or needing to be replaced, we were able to find solutions that kept the filming process on track. By adjusting schedules, using voice recordings, and focusing on the shots we could control, we managed to stay organized and productive. Despite the challenges, the filming went smoothly, and our team was working together perfectly, allowing us to capture the scenes we needed while keeping the energy positive and creative throughout the process.
